What to do in your garden this August

Spring Day is less than a month away which means it’s time to don those gardening gloves and get out there! There are a few important jobs you can do now to make your life easier come spring or summer, and to ensure a more vibrant, colourful garden you can enjoy in the warmer weather. And in those still-too-dark winter evenings, what better way to pass the time than by planning your gardening future and giving yourself something to really look forward to. Whatever you have in mind, we can help make it happen…

SHARPEN YOUR BLADES Get mechanical or electrical on your lawn by ensuring that you get your lawnmower serviced so it’s ready for action. It’s also time to rake and scarify.

HAVE A (LIGHT)BULB MOMENT! Here’s a great idea: bury future floral treasure by planting all your favourite bulbs now and then watch out for those first green shoots emerging.
