Description

The flowers of this plant are grouped in their characteristic “bottle-brushes” at the end of the branches. This plant bears scarlet pink flowers, a complimentary colour to traditional varieties. The long stamens give the shrub its ornamental quality. This plant has fine narrow grey-green foliage. Hot Pink is hardier than the other varieties. Does well in dry soils, preferably without lime and does not need much maintenance. However, it is more beautiful, more ramified and in flower when watered regularly in summer. After flowering, cut the stems systematically just under their flower to avoid fruit formation and to favour the growth of new shoots. A better garden starts with a better plant. Information and picture are a guide only.
