Description

A dense, vigorous climber which quickly screens unsightly walls, or beautifies pergolas and carports with lush green divided foliage. A light wire mesh support is required. ‘Lady Di’ thrives in climates ranging from cool temperate to tropical, and blooms from summer to autumn, in full or filtered sun.Her large, delicate white trumpet flowers have golden throats, and subtle sweet fragrance. Plant at 2 meter intervals for quick cover, in moist, well drained clay loam or moist, sandy soils; neutral to acid PH. ‘Lady Di’ TM will tolerate light frost. Regular pruning is necessary to maintain shape and fresh growth. An occasional hard pruning (after flowering) is also beneficial. Feed in early spring or late summer. Can be grown in large container on a patio.Compact in habit, it’s a lovely, long-flowering plant that should be left inside while it flowers (4 to 6 weeks). Once the bloom cycle is completed, it can be planted outside in a patio pot in the summer, or in the garden in Zone 7 and warmer.
